Planning your pages

When I plan my pages for project life the first thing I do is print my pictures for the week.  I then place them on the empty pages to see how I want to do the layout.  I love to do paper piecing projects with some of my photo also.  You will see them in my pages.  I am not a great journal person so I try to say something on the pictures themselves when I can.    I am really not a true planner, I just go with the flow of what ever looks good to me.  I do my book by the month.  It is easier for me just in case I get a little behind.

I love to take pictures, lots of them.  But when doing my PL layouts I find that it is okay to just use a few photos to show what the event was about.  There are times you want to have more photos for an event, but just one special one can explain everything.

Sometime we get stuck with what kind of photos we should be taking.  Here are some ideas to help you out.

1.  Notes/Art work on your frig
2.  Your favorite view looking outside a window
3.  Someone cooking in your kitchen
4.  Your place of work
5.  The Grocery Store
6.  The view in your rear-view mirror (or the view in front of you)
7.  Household chores
8.  Current Book Your Reading
9.  Favorite TV Show
10.Backyard full of snow? Or puddles

Here is week 2 of just the grandsons.  I used Clementine and Baby Boy digital kits for these layouts.

Here is my first digital layout for my Project Life 2013.  My first double layout was inspired by our day in Trinidad, CA.  Our truck broke down on our way home from CA to WA in this quaint little town of only 300.  The people there were amazing.  Here are a few photos of our last day there before heading back home.

Now for the official start of my digital project life, here is Week One, Jan 1-7.

I am getting things ready to start my Project Life 2013.  I will be working on several albums.  I am doing one for my new granddaughter, redoing my grandsons albums and working on my own 2013 album.  I know I can keep up.  I am probably going to do my family one digital and the grand kids with the baby core kits I bought.  I am so excited and can't wait.
